International bulk liquid haulage and transport services

Duncan Hill is built around specialist bulk liquid haulage, but the yard does more than move freight.

From this single site near Maryport, we run road and rail tanker operations, an authorised HGV testing lane, a tank cleaning bay, on-site tank hire and secure warehouse storage.

Each of these is treated as a service in its own right. Some are tightly specialised, hazardous chemical work, water haulage to heritage steam locomotives, road-to-rail trans-shipping. Others are more straightforward but no less important to the people who use them, like the ATF lane that local operators rely on for their MOTs.

what we do

Bulk liquid haulage is what we’re known for, by road and by rail, but it isn’t all we do. From our yard near Maryport we also run a DVSA-approved testing facility, a tank cleaning bay, tank hire and warehouse storage. Take a look at each below.
